Idol posing experiments
I've got new (well, technically old actually) upper leg parts for my Idol boys! I've really loved the pose-ability of the Impldoll Idol body in many ways, but the one complaint that I had was that it could not spread it's legs. Hehe! You know, guys when they sit, they don't sit with their knees together nice and tight like ladies, but they sit like... well, like guys!
I noticed that on the very first Idol body photos modelled by Filraen (no longer on the Impldoll website) had the old fashioned slot in the front kind of upper leg parts. The new type hidden joint may be pretty and all that, but my guys wear pants and they are required to do a lot of posing. So the pretty, but inept upper legs parts were infuriating me to no end. So, I contacted Impldoll and asked if I could buy separately the oldest type leg parts and they agreed. I got them already about a month ago and they've been working like a charm. Recently I did some posing experiments with my idol bodies (freshly equipped with the older type upper leg parts) and you can see the results in the picture. For a 70cm muscle type guy, the Idol really poses like a trooper!
I'm going to miss that lower torso joint on my Chad. Don't get me wrong, I'll be eager to get my hands on the newest type Idol body, just to see how it is (and for pretty chest shots!!) but I already know it won't pose as well as my older Idol guys. I'm thrilled the arms are the same as before. The knees fight you somewhat when posing, so I'm hoping they would have improved those a bit, but I'm not holding my breath. They look just like old ones, but it'll be interesting to experience the newest version of the Idol body no matter how it is.
