Mirodoll 70cm girl body

I received the newish Mirodoll 70cm girl body last week and I do have to say, I LOVE IT! I thought a 70cm girl would be too tall for my tastes, but I could not have been more wrong. I'm loving this lanky tall body with its' relaxed posture and lean mean look. I have restrung it by just using the 4mm Mirodoll string, but I didn't need to suede it at all for it to stand and pose pretty well. It has some limitations in terms of posing, but it's good enough for me, and I'm pretty demanding of my dolls posing ways.

I measured it next to my Impldoll Idol Filraen, who according to my own measurements is not 72cm, but 70cm sharp. The Mirodoll 70cm girl body with the Lightning head measured a couple of millimetres below 69cm next to him. They make a darn fine looking pair in my own humble opinion. I adore the slender frame of this Miro 70cm girl body next to the bulky Idol frame. The Idol and EID ladies tend to be so bulky themselves, that they strip the poor Idol man of all his bulk and masculinity. But not this skinny girl!! No, she accentuates his muscles and makes him seem strong and hot! :) I love this match! Lightning is a GORGEOUS elf lady besides! Very charismatic! She's going to give Filraen a run for his money.

I also tried 5 other heads on this Miro 70cm girl body. I loved the matches of Mirodoll heads Winnie, Wind, Iris and Annie!! They all work on it like a charm! Head rotation and tilt are really good and the proportions look fabulous to my eyes. Annie is going to be such a super model once she gets her face-up! :) I also tried my Luts Summer Event 2009 head on the body, and the match was brilliant!!! I'm definitely going to use "Summer" on it and do a girl face-up for it eventually. Ahhh, the prospects the prospects! :D

ON ANOTHER FRONT:

While having a blast with my Mirodolls, I'm STILL waiting for February my Impldoll Chad/Adela order. I received something that one could only call the most anticlimatic BJD box of all times yesterday. Impldoll had send my stuff in two boxes. One box is stuck in customs and the other one came straight to me. The one that came to me contained 1/4 Adela's body and the 1/3 Chad human head. Hehehehe! So, basically nothing of use! There I have a headless body sitting next to a bodyless head in my closet. Oh joy oh joy....
