Mirodoll Outfits and Tiny Clothes
Mirodoll posted the photos I took of Rain and Orlando modelling their 68cm body outfits on their website and their Facebook this month. It's so crazy to see my dolls, as well as my garden, on a BJD company's website! It's downright surreal. I recommend you go and snatch some of these Miro outfits sets!!! They're on sale still for a couple more days and they are such lovely quality!! I sure hope I managed to make them look as nice in the photos as they are in reality.
I hope Miro will have time to update more of the new promo photos on their website soon. I've had interesting chats with Miro fans on DoA on. They have some amazingly imaginative ideas and projects, and lot of them are making use of the fabulous resin colour selection at Mirodoll. Smart that considering how few companies offer any variation there. I'm tempted myself to get a fantasy colour Miro one day, but for now I'll maybe just consider turning some of the remaining flaoting head I have into some fantasy creatures. It's interesting to watch the development of Mirodoll now that I'm so well acquinted with their offerings and hopefully I'll get to see more hobbyists take an interest in their sculpts and dolls. It's been wonderful also to observe the positive reactions my Mirodolls have gotten on Flickr and I hope more people will find these lovely dolls and bring them to life!
The weather turned for the better in Finland over August. June and July were absolutely miserable, but at least we got some nice warm days now. My dolls have gotten some photos taken of them in the garden. Here are my Miro sisters Annie and Winnie in their Lolita looks on my terrace. Annie and Winnie sculpts are both brilliant matches for all the 3 different 1/3 Mirodoll bodies. Here Annie is on the 62cm body with the small bust and Winnie is on the 60cm body with the bigger bust. They both look fabulous on the 70cm girl body too! I love the versatility this offers!
This summer, I've also been working on building a better wardrobe for my tiny dolls, particularly my two 1/6 boys AoD Ling and DZ Luke, and my 16cm anthro gang. I made some amazing finds on Etsy!! These beautiful outfits are by evali905:
