Mirodoll Experiments

I took some comparison photos today of my Mirodolls and Mirodoll bodies and did some experiments with Dollmore and Impldoll parts. There’s been people wondering about the newer ¼ Mirodoll girl body and how it compares to other MSD bodies and also quite a bit of interest in the new Mirodoll 70cm body. So I thought I’d post some photos and share my views on the subject from various angles. I'll also show how Dollmore Eve hands work on the Mirodoll 60cm and 62cm girl bodies.

Here’s first a comparison of my Mirodoll ¼ Yaya with my Dollzone Kimi and my yet faceless Impldoll Young Adela. As you can see, the Mirodoll girl is somewhat shorter, but otherways very similar and well compatible with the other two. Posing ways, she compares just fine. The Dollzone one is superior to the others, but they do pose pretty ok as well. Head sizes are quite similar also.

Here are my Impldoll Idol head Azalea experiments with the Mirodoll 70cm and 62cm bodies. Well, the pictures tell the tale. The Impl pink - Miro normal resin match is not perfect, but with a bit of blushing is ought to work ok.

I prefer Azalea on the 62cm body height ways, but I would prefer to get that neck looking a bit longer. A neck donut between the head and the neck works ok and makes her look a bit more relaxed. The gaping is pretty evident too from the side with the 62cm body. Long hair needed. The 70cm body is huge and makes her look a bit pin headed, but the neck junction works ok and nect to no gaping. The head likes to nod a bit front ways and the tilt backwards is poor, but might help to add a neck donut on the inside of the head (between the s-hook and the neck hole) to allow the s-hook to slide more inside the head.

My Miro girls like to use Dollmore basic Eve hands for extra posing ability. The resin match is a bit off, maybe 80% now that my Miro body has already yellowed some (the hands are newer). The rotation is fabulous though. There’s no need to do any modding on the wrist, but it’s just jot on an go with both the 60cm oval as well as the 62cm round wrists.

Here are some close-ups of the DM hand on the 60cm wrist. I also have the Dollmore Eve Dollpire hands and they work just as brilliantly on the Mirodoll girl body wrists.
