~*ImplFiesta*~
The beginning of my Xmas holiday and it's an ImplFiesta! I'm having tons of fun with my new Impl girls Vanessa and Azalea. The girls have gotten to pose in photos together, separately, with my Idol boys and even with my Eastern Light Studio panther Guen. They're proving very photogenic and fun girls - I'm having a blast!!! :)
Azalea got her face-up done at the same time with Vanessa. Her face-up is a lot more subtle, very natural and fresh was what I was going for. She has such a gorgeous sculpt that I felt I needed to let it shine.
Azalea has such small elf ears that it's pretty hard to get them to show under wigs, but I personally love it because she can easily double as a human girl then. I already tried that with both Vanessa and Moss, and she passed the test with flying colours!
<---- Here Azalea and Vanessa went with a bit of a 70's theme and ths blond wig completely covered those elf ears. You would never know she isn't a human girl! LOL!
Azalea has been on the Mirodoll 70cm body while Vanessa has been occupying the Impl Star body. The slender and lanky Mirodoll body suits the thin faced Azalea really well and while there's a little mismatch with the resin tones, it's not too distracting in the photos for my eyes.
Vanessa with the new Star girl body is proving, as I suspected, somewhat challenging to dress because of the extreme curves of the body. I'm pleased with the small bust and regular SD most tops seem to work on her, as long as I can get them over her considerable shoulders or past her gigantic buttocks. SD17 guys' pants seem to cover her huge bottom, but she does look like a chunky lady in most clothes. She needs really thin fabrics and stretchy garments to look even borderline slender. She will need bodyhugging boleros and sweaters to reduce the wresteler's shoulder effect a bit. Her super tiny head only higlights the width of the shoulders and I'm thinking Bernice will have the same problem with this body. Leg length is pretty good and she looks nicely proportioned. I've bought Iple SID girl hands for her and waiting for them. I'm hoping they might help play down that wrestler effect too. ;)

Azalea also posed with my Impldoll Idol Gnaeus (a.k.a. Moss). I was smart enough to equip her with shoes that did not add to her height and therefor the combination worked pretty fabulously! It was a thrill to have a proper Impl pair in action with such beautifully matching aesthetics. Moss and Azalea had more of a sibling chemistry and they were dressed in a bit of an artsy casual style for their shoot.
Vanessa on the other hand got a dramatic shoot with Guen the panther and rocked the daylights out of a new Iplehouse EID dress.
She also took a spin at the Backdrop Harbour with Idol Marcus, dressed all street style. The chemistry with both Guen and Marcus was pretty tangible! ;) This girl is proving to be a force to reckon with... definitely rapidly rising to the top girl category!
While conversing with Impldoll about my missing Bernice, I sent them a photo of Vanessa with her new face-up, which they immediately shared on their Facebook and Instagram accounts. Vanessa has been getting a lot of love on Flickr too, and I could not be happier with her! I suppose another star is born! ;)
