Impldolls and Blythes...
Impldoll has done it again! They've launched a FB event that actually got me into setting up a FB account. I don't actually mean to use it to share anything much, but I will make use of it by following some of my favourite BJD artists and Blythe customizers.
Anyway, as I got myself a FB account, I entered the Impldoll FB event and scored myself a gorgeous white skin Plaice elf head. He will share a body with my Idol Chad and I'll be interested to design a face-up for him. He looks younger than my other Idol boys, at least blank. He will make a wonderful elf male companion for my Bernice and Azalea. Here's my favourite pic of him from the Impldoll website (courtesy of impldoll photographer):
I've also fallen hard for Blythes. My first 2 girls arrived a couple of weeks ago and I've already got 2 more on order. I've also invested in customizing equipment and the up-coming two Blythes will geta comprehensive OOAK makeover: sanding, carving, re-painting, eye chip change, eye boggling, gaze correction, sleepy eye fix... you name it! Everything apart from a reroot. I've done too many reroots in my days and can't bring myself to take that tedious job up anymore. Hehe! I can't wait to get cracking on them though.
I'm wondering if I should set up a Blythe gallery here on my website or do a whole new Blythe sister site or blog for them... hmm... something to consider. I'm leaning towards a brand new blog to share the customizing process.
