Dollmore Bella Auden - Box Opening!
My birthday present for myself, Dollmore Bella Auden head, arrived yesterday!! She came in a very pretty little black box with beautiful golden stickers.
I also got a paperdoll, a bookmark and SD sized red lace undies as gifts from DM.
Here's the main event herself - from all angles!! It's such a delicate and mesmerizing sculpt! I'm loving it!
The insides of the head were somewhat peculiar. No magnets whatsoever and not even slots for them. Some of the oldest DM sculpts have this system that you're supposed to rig the s-hook to that loop on the head cap. The neck hole is funky too. It's just round with no slots for the s-hook. Well, I've resorted to blue tacking the headcap for now. I don't like the loop thingy, because I change eye a lot on my dolls and I need to be able to take the head cap off all the time. For the neck hole, I've inserted a donut inside the head to serve the function of the missing s-hook slots.
Here's a comparison with my Dollmore Skylar Grey, who has a default DM face-up. Bella Auden is somewhat bigger. They're both model size heads.
Bella was trying out different types of bodies. I first tried her on the Miro60. It was too short imo for her. The Angelsdoll was otherways kind of ok, but too pink, too rounded for her bony face and too short in the torso. The hands and arm would've been just great for her. I liked the Mirodoll 62cm body the best for her. This is in fact the body that I was intending her for. I've still thinking she could've used a tad more height though, maybe 63cm or so. Resin match with the Mirodoll is great!
Just some spookiness for the Halloween season! ;) Hehee!
Bella the Wraith! I never usually do photo shoots with blank faced dolls, but Bella for some reason inspired me to do one. I dressed her in all whites and equipped her with fantasy ears and voila! The wraith was born! ;)
I quite loved the way she looked, but I can't wait to see her with a face-up though! Maybe, if I'm lucky, I might have some time for it later this week. :)
